Art Institute of Chicago Hotels

Be inspired by the great artists at the Art Institute of Chicago, located on South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. From ancient art to contemporary masterpieces, this famous Chicago museum contains a little something for everyone. From vibrant paintings to stunning sculptures, the Art Institute of Chicago is full of objects that tell stories and can keep a visitor walking through the galleries for hours. No visit is complete, however, without a stop in to marvel at Georges Seurat's sprawling masterpiece La Grande Jatte, which pictures people enjoying a picturesque day at the park, much as tourists and Chicagoans do at nearby Millennium Park.

Whether you've come to glance at a few favorites or are staying to enjoy a full exhibit, the Art Institute of Chicago is a wonderful place to visit during your time in Chicago. The museum is open daily, with discounted admission for seniors, students, and children. The new Modern wing of the museum will be completed in May 2009.
